Insects

Female Nursery Web Spider (Pisaura mirabilis) carrying her Egg Sac. The Female Nursery Web Spider (Pisaura mirabilis) carries her egg sac in her jaws, unlike the Wolf Spider which carries the egg sac on the spinnerets. The Nursery Web Spider cannot therefore feed until the spiderlings have hatched.
